Affiancato dalla moglie Carla, decide di creare un laboratorio per la realizzazione dell’abbigliamento in pelle, in grado di fornire un prodotto di alta qualità destinato alle signore di Busto Arsizio e dintorni. La sede dell’azienda è un’elegante villa circondata da un ampio giardino fiorito, dove si trovano il laboratorio al piano interrato e l’ampio show room al piano rialzato.
Il nome dell’ azienda “Creazione C.A.P.” significa: Creazione Abbigliamento Pelle.
Il marchio invece viene battezzato “Titta Colombo”, dal nome del fondatore.
Gli anni ’60 e ’70 sono anni di gran lavoro e di sviluppo dell’azienda, che diventa sempre più conosciuta nell’hinterland. Si lavora esclusivamente per la clientela privata, producendo modelli unici e particolari, capi in pelle e montone per uomo e donna, confezionati su misura; alla produzione della pelle, si affianca la realizzazione della pelliccia e degli impermeabili con guarnizioni di pelo. Tutte le fasi di lavorazione si svolgono all’interno del laboratorio, grazie allo sforzo di un ricco gruppo di collaboratori altamente qualificato.
Negli anni ’80 e ’90 Titta Colombo decide di ampliare e diversificare il lavoro e alla confezione dei capi, aggiunge anche il servizio di tintura, pulitura dei peli e di conservazione delle pellicce costruendo nel polo artigianale di Busto Arsizio un ampio caveau protetto e climatizzato, in cui si possono custodire non solo pellicce, ma anche i preziosi come mobili antichi, gioielli,...
Dal 1999, Simona, dopo aver conseguito la laurea in Architettura presso il Politecnico di Milano, affianca il padre nell’ azienda a porta un tocco giovane e moderno alle collezioni.
L’ azienda, ormai consolidata e affermata inizia a rivolgersi al mercato europeo (Germania, Svizzera) ed extra europeo (Giappone e Corea), proponendo un prodotto “made in Italy” ricercato e di alto livello artigianale e sartoriale, utilizzando solo materie prime di alta qualità e i peli più preziosi.
Dopo più di quarant’ anni di lavoro, l’azienda ha maturato una solida esperienza nel settore ed è in grado di soddisfare con maestrìa le richieste di una clientela italiana e straniera sempre più esigente.

With his wife Carla, he decided to create a workshop for the making of leather apparel, to give a high quality product for the ladies of Busto Arsizio and surroundings, just 40 km outside Milan. The headquarters of the company are inside an elegant villa surrounded by a wide flower garden, with the workshop in the basement and the large showroom at the raised ground floor.
The acronym “C.A.P.” means:
"Creazione Abbigliamento Pelle" - Creation Apparel Leather.
The trademark is “Titta Colombo”, it takes from the founder.
The sixties and the seventies were years of great work and company development, that become more and more renowned in Milan's hinterland. In those times, our company has been working for private customers only, by producing unique and specific models, leather and sheepskin clothes for men and women, tailor made; beside the leather production, it started the making of furs and raincoats with fur fringes. All the working stages were done inside the workshop, with the help of a great team of highly qualified workers.
In the eighties and nineties, Titta Colombo decided to extend and expand the work and the making of garments, adding also the service of dyeing, hair cleaning and fur preservation by building in the artisan area of Busto Arsizio a wide caveau, safeguarded and air-conditioned, in which is possible to shield not only furs, but also other valuables like old furniture, jewels,...
Since 1999, Simona, after her Architecture degree at the Milan Politecnico, supports her father in the firm and brings a young and modern touch to the collections.
The company, now consolidated and successful, started to look at the European market (Germany, Switzerland) and the global one (Japan and Korea), by proposing a “made in Italy” product, valued and of high level both artisan and tailoring, and using only first quality raw materials and the most precious leather.
After more than 40 years in the business, this company has developed a solid experience in the field and can satisfy with mastery the request of our Italian and foreign customers, always more demanding.
